While exploring the mountains of Colorado, this friendly fox came so close that I was standing in his shadow! I was able to capture him in a photograph. I loved the long shadows of his legs and ears and couldn't wait to turn him into a watercolor painting. The shadow is the center of the piece while his face remains a mischievous mystery.
