Inspired by the beauty of the created world, this watercolor illustrates each stage of a quail's life. Quails are generally solitary birds, traveling solo or in pairs. However, during mating season it is common to see large flocks of quails traveling together in family groups. The Quail Family is part of a larger body of work called The Naturalist.
