Hello! I am Nerea Azanza, the artist behind this artwork. I call my vision Art in Expansion. My art is a journey of finding how we are connected, expanding elements through precise freehand lines in space.
With each painting of The Origin Series, I invite you to explore elements that make us inherently human. From my Parisian studio, I reflect on the digital age, nature, and disconnections. The digital age, with its constant changes and the allure of social media, has both connected us in new ways and created disconnections. It's this duality that I seek to capture in my art.
DD.DoubleDream encapsulates my deep yearning. Living in a bustling city surrounded by concrete and noise, I often feel isolated. My heart aches for the grounding embrace of nature, the way the color green soothes my soul. I go to the Internet to feel less alone, but it's not a company for my old soul. I hesitate to consume content in a way that I do not appreciate: hastily, without acknowledging the people behind the screens. I am troubled by this disjointed communication. This is the DoubleDream painting, a vision of human connection and being in nature. A dream of leaving our digital EGO behind. A dream of the healthy wild inside us. A dream of simple ways to live and stay present.
