I admire nature's design in simple things, like river rocks. Although fairly simple in shape, the depth of color and texture within a stone's architecture is more complex than you initially think. Inspired by the hobby of specimen collecting, I wanted to create a graphic representation of one of nature's less admired creations.

Being raised by creative parents who, among other things, made their own Christmas cards at the kitchen table, I learned how much fun it was to make things with my hands. I grew up with paints, crayons, and colored pencils. Later in life I turned all that creativity towards graphic design for both print and digital products.
