I felt so lucky to have woken up on Christmas Eve morning to a Yosemite Valley blanketed with fresh snow. As I approached the falls from the valley floor, a powdery mist of swirling snow fell around me as a light breeze caught the freshly dusted branches above. Massive evergreens flanked my sides while the surging falls rumbled louder and louder with each step. Finally, the mist cleared, I raised my camera, and there, framed between the trees, was Yosemite Falls.
