The story behond this piece really stems from my love for nature. As a child I grew up in a house that was beautifully nestled on a small lake in Wisconsin. Many days I spent exploring the lake shore while looking for things to touch and feel.This painting reminds me of looking at the lush moss growing on the rocks with drift wood along side of them. I loved taking in the all the colors that I could possibly see in this natural lakeside setting. I used handmade textures, photos of textures and digital painting for this piece called-crevice
