Photograph taken as I entered the ancient Mayan civilization in Tulum, Mexico. In Mayan culture as you enter into the city you are to bow in respect to the gods. As I rose up from the bow I captured through image the subtle approval of my entrance as the sun shot through the palm skimming my face.
