I love painting loose studies of everyday still lifes, they are usually quick sketches or sometimes watercolor just to capture a little moment of my day. I love the final results of these studies, sometimes even more than some of my more planned pieces. These studies have a great sense of movement, you can see the loose brush strokes and all of the marks. I love the casual nature of these pieces. This is a watercolor study of a wild blue berry bush from my grandmother's farm.
