« Tidal Marsh » was inspired by the beautiful view of a summer rain squall coming on over a tidal marsh in Brittany. In this watercolor, the natural forms have melted away to take this landscape into near-abstraction, in a composition that otherwise is a tonal soup of olive green, indigo blue and raw sienna.
