This is a hand-painted, loose style, watercolour painting of a flower. I love playing with limited colour palettes and I love brown. I wanted it to have a very effortless feel to it and be somewhat minimalistic in nature. It's a stand-alone piece and inspired by the wild South African fynbos that end their lifecycle and dry out in summer.
