Whenever I was faced with a challenge as a child, my mother has always said "no one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Meaning, it is a choice to feel inferior or not good enough and you can choose a different path. I have always loved this saying because it has helped me through big and small challenges; whenever I feel not good enough, I remember it is my choice to feel strong and empowered.
