I have always loved the rolling green and golden hills in Northern California. Over time, these beautiful, open hills seem to be filling in/disappearing with more and more housing communities. This landscape scene of the historic Fort Baker (built 1902-1910) in the Marin Headlands shows the hills still green from the winter rain. By summer they will be "golden."
