Since 2008 I have been piloting a Cirrus aircraft around many of the spectacular mountain and desert areas of the Western United States. I have experienced, and collected some special "images from 14,000 feet", that few people, other than General Aviation Pilots, ever experience. This photograph is taken flying over the Grand Canyon, with the sum illuminating part of the canyon itself. The sights I see from the air always inspire me.
