Morocco's Blue City is a painting that represents the real life town of Chefchaouen, reknown for it's blue buildings. From my studio in the Hawaiian islands I am influenced by the immediate world around me, and so much of my work has a distinct tropical feel even if the subject is not a traditionally “tropical” one. Other influences include my near-constant travels and my fascination with world culture. Typical motifs you will find in my artwork are plants, food, and architecture.
