I paint a lot of feathers and what I love about this one is, I was able to create it with few brush strokes. I can work for hours in my studio and get into some pretty complicated, detailed pieces; I find it refreshing when I am happy with a few beautiful strokes where you can see the path of the brush. Where the viewer can feel the brush strokes. The result for this one is that it is uncomplicated, gentle, peaceful and soft.

Gravitating toward classical media such as charcoal, ink, acrylic, watercolor and gouache, I regard color as my primary element, often combining modern and antique palettes.
