Angella So, based in California, created Cloude Made to capture a certain sensibility -- serene, ethereal, a moment in time that resonates long after it passes. She is inspired by the beauty of the California coastline -- the ocean, the sunset, and the limitless range of the light. Her ceramic pieces are hand-thrown, many of them altered with hand building techniques, and are glazed in a neutral palette that varies in shade from water to stone to cloud.
This vase is hand thrown and then shaped by hand. Three different glazes are applied to achieve the look of layers of white. It is the largest size in the Avalanche collection.
