This piece is inspired by the changing seasons, and the florals from early spring and late summer. This would look great on its own, or with its pair. It is inspired by vintage museum posters and gallery signs. Katharine is inspired by floral patterns, vintage textiles, and the patterns in her own garden.

Portland, ME
Katharine Watson is an artist and printmaker based in Portland, Maine. Katharine grew up in London and Hong Kong, and settled in Portland in 2015. She begins her work with a sketch that she translates to a linoleum block and then carves by hand, later printing these designs onto stationery, textiles, ceramics, and other everyday goods. When she's not in her studio, she's out gardening with her husband and two dogs, or reading home design magazines with a cup of jasmine tea.
