About the work
Imagine that you have been out walking on a misty, early summer morning. Suddenly the sun breaks through and lights up the whole sparkling scene. Photographing against the sun is often challenging but when it works, the results are so rewarding. I decided to try this shot of daisies at the edge of a hillside meadow. The light mist helped soften the scene and created the abstract light in the background.
