"Oja" is a very loose interpretation of a giant banana tree that has been in my mother's yard for over a decade. The green abstract shapes in this painting are inspired by the length and the shape of the leaves. The curved shaped and the thin detailed lines give this piece a soft sense of movement, mimicking the motion of leaves billowing in a soft breeze.
