About the work

I love painting lemons and this piece feels really warm and happy. I love the way that warm, bright light brings fruit to life. I started with an abstract layer underneath which gives the overall look a whimsical feel. It was a lot of fun to paint. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed painting it.
