I painted this piece in October 2019, a month in which I was navigating some difficult situations. I felt that it was a time of things being re-ordered in my life, a holy disruption. I believe holy disruptions are sacred times when God breaks through the chaos and transforms things into holy order. This is one of several pieces in a series that focuses on this theme, using black and white and gold.
