This is an abstract drawing of a potted gardenia plant. I was inspired by the simple circular shapes of the blooms, and tried to capture the delicacy of the plant leaves and stems with loose linework. A faint paper texture overly gives a vintage feel to this drawing, and the soothing neutral palette creates a calming image.
