With kids and teens spending more time at home, there’s no better time to source a fresh, new art collection that they can use to make their spaces more beautiful and inspiring. With that in mind, we’re excited to launch our fifth annual children’s art Challenge in partnership with Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen, two of the most established retailers in children’s and teen’s home decor. In the last five years of this partnership, winning pieces have been exposed to millions of customers online, in stores, in catalogs, and on social media.

Minted, Pottery Barn Kids, and Pottery Barn Teen will all select Editors’ Picks. Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen will select at least 25 Editors’ Picks each to be sold on the Pottery Barn Kids or Pottery Barn Teen websites. Some winning pieces may be featured in the Pottery Barn Kids or Pottery Barn Teen catalog. See full details in the “Editors’ Picks” section below. Minted Editors’ Picks will be sold on Minted.com.

Note that we are looking for a balanced assortment that will appeal to both boys and girls. Pottery Barn Kids will select pieces primarily for school-aged children and will also select a few pieces for nurseries. Pottery Barn Teen will select pieces for older children, teens, and college dorm rooms.

Note that this Challenge will focus on submissions containing single art pieces, but we will also accept submissions that include 2-4 pieces that are intended to hang together. If you would like to submit a pair or set of pieces, you must submit these using one of our ten submission templates located in the submission kit. Only non-customizable art prints will be accepted in this Challenge.
