About the work

This piece is part of a series of oil paintings that reflect my heartfelt respect for our magnificent ocean and the inherent connection I feel with those who love her. The ocean can personify the emotions we feel in her shape, movement, and color and this piece strives to exhibit the strength to overcome, to "Prevail."
