This piece is a wonderful mixture of cut paper, paint rolled on with roller tool,
sponges dipped in paint and applied to canvas and large scraper tool to get the rounded line work on paint.
Everything Alison creates is based on her mood and emotions at the moment. She is able
to translate imagery, and there is a real intention and meaning behind every painting.
Alison wants whoever looks at her landscapes to feel complete, serenity and remain hopeful
more than anything else. Landscapes and abstracts to her are meant to be painted as simple
but dramatic with a misty kind of effect. Her ideas are drawn from her travels all over the world.
She currently works in her studio in Doylestown,PA.
