This photograph was taken at Limekiln State Park in Big Sur, California. It was just before sunset and the light glimmered on the stream that went to the ocean. There is a river in the wooded area of the park that leads to the beach. I was happy to see this seagull in the center of the photo. He was searching for his dinner. Hope you enjoy! Happy Summer!

I am an elementary school teacher living in Indiana. I am also trained in art therapy specializing in working with children with autism. I have an eclectic quirky style and approach photography with a sense of whimsy and wonder. I love nature and antiques especially old technologies.
