Arches National Park is full of beautiful shapes. For this series of two photos I chose my two favorites from a contour study. I love the way the soft angles, light and texture make these rocks feel almost as if they are growing, of course the opposite is true as erosion continues to shape this sandstone into otherworldly beauty. This photo, Contour Study No. 1 is beautiful hanging alone orpaired with Contour Study No. 2, the second in the diptych.
