This piece was inspired by the rolling hills of Northwest Connecticut, where in my daily travels I see the beauty in my surroundings. Especially as the sun starts to set the colors, layers, and tones can be something quite like you've never seen or expected. In this artwork I layered watercolor in a range of colors and tones to get the same serene effect.
