About the work

I've always been drawn to water as it brings a sense of calm to me. There is always something peaceful watching the pretty blue waves. I hope to create the same feeling for my viewers with this photo. This photo was taken at the beautiful blue beach in Maui, Hawaii.

    Kathy Par is an abstract artist, graphic designer and photographer. She grew up under her mother's artistic influence watching her draw, paint and sculpt. After trying a lit bit of everything, she decided to complete her bachelors in studio art, specializing in graphic design. She feels very fortunate she is able to create art for a living and as a hobby.
