About the work

I am always fascinated by the sky and how the position of the sun, the types of clouds, the impending weather, the time of year, the time of day, and a million other factors can all impact the appearance of the sky. As a result, the sky is an amazing canvas for an infinite number of images! Although this photo was taken on a walk, it reminded me of the (many) times I have stared at an expansive landscape and gotten lost in my own thoughts. The dreamy pink quality of the clouds contributes to the positive, optimistic mood of this photo. And so it seemed appropriate to call it "Rosy Daydream".
