Dragonflies remind me so much of summer, so i wanted to paint three, in mid-flight. I painstakingly watercolored their delicate wings to try and look lighter than air, like on their three-dimensional counterparts. It was a long process, but I love how individual each one looks, in the end. Makes a great companion to my butterfly pieces.
