I loved the weathered wood and metal colors of this old abandoned barn and this is what inspired me to take this photograph. It stood alone in the meadow and was so rich in contrast against the snow. The sprigs of sage surrounding this barn seemed to be painted to compliment the tones and character of the aged material beautifully transformed by nature.
