This abstract acrylic painting was inspired by many summers spent at the beach. The circular brushstrokes and rich colors are reminiscent of the feeling of ocean waves on a hot summer day. I have always loved the deep blue and green jewel tones of the ocean in contrast with the bright blue sky and the soft white of clouds overhead. This painting was intended to capture that wonderful summertime feeling of swimming in the ocean with the warm rays of the sun reflecting off of the water.
