This work started as a collection of photograms I created in the darkroom. Eventually I started watercoloring the images to create a soft colorful silhouette of the seahorses.

I like to find the magical in ordinary everyday things. Much of my work is inspired by things no further than then end of the driveway, because I suffer from a chronic disability. It's my art that saves me. I have been making art of one form or another my whole life. I have worked in many mediums: photography, collage, bookarts, printmaking, painting, and fabric design.
