No matter the season, during long walks I am always searching for any colorful blooms that might be popping up in the surrounding nature. Flowers in the fall, which is the season I had in mind for this piece, are a kind of closure to a wonderful season of color. My brushes attempt to capture this last colorful goodbye before the new season of neutral sets in and I have to wait until the first buds of color pop up in spring.
