As a food blogger I enjoy taking pictures of food. Fruits and vegetables not only taste delicious but their unique shapes, textures and colors make them lovely to photograph. In this image I really wanted to capture the vibrant yellow-orange color of a Meyer lemon. I decided to shoot outside, in evening light, to help bring out the natural warmth of the lemon. Keeping the setting simple I used barn wood as the backdrop. The overall feeling is rustic and bright.
