Booda Frog was a pet White's Tree Frog that belonged to an artist and coworker friend, a collector and owner of a fantastic animal menagerie. His collection included a variety of frogs, reptiles, and mammals, including a large blue-tongued skink, a fennec fox, and this White's Tree Frog, an Australian species. My colleagues and I were invited to stop by and paint the animals, and when I saw Booda, I knew I had to paint him. He appears in three different poses, showing us his cheerful, froggy smile. Booda clasped his fingers and posed happily for his portrait, finally nodding off to sleep. Namaste, Booda Frog!
