The power of this wild horse running through the fresh snow inspired me to take this photograph. I loved the sound of his thundering hoof beats and I wanted to capture the energy and spirit he possessed on this cold Winter day. The contrast of the white snow and his black coat gave the image a sense of mystery and I wanted to convey to the viewer his strength and power.
