This original of this abstract piece was created with fluid acrylics and water. The rich pigments in the color and viscous nature of the media allowed for mixing of the hues in a manner similar to watercolor, charming in its unpredictability. I was inspired by the bold and vivid darkness of a stormy sky juxtaposed with the soft luminescence of the rising sun.
