When Peonies bloom at the beginning of summer, their delicate petals are layered and folded as if they form a majestic gown fit for royalty. As the sun comes up in the morning , blooms open up to reveal the yellow crown of pollen in the center. While the blooms have sort lives, this photo freezes the moment in time when this bloom opened up to show all of its glory to the world.
