Spike, a seventeen-months old hedgehog, belonged to a friend and exotic animal enthusiast. I sketched spike while visiting my friend and his menagerie of animals. There were crickets and frogs in one room, and a little fox romped and prowled around his flat. Large lizards resided in very large glass aquaria. An unforgettable experience.
