I photographed this in Venice Beach early Spring after a long hard rainy season in LA. This photo session uplifted my spirits and reminded me how much I love coming here and capturing these surfers experiencing joy and loving being out there. In this particular photograph I noticed the American flag barely visible in the distance. A reminder of why I love our country. Freedom and beauty.
