I was frustrated about something, and had canvas just waiting for me to take it out on! I grabbed two canvas' and decided I was going to keep the color palette pretty simple. I wanted it to be bold yet soft. The more I messed it up I'd wash it away with the hose, and these pretty layers began to show. Pushing and pulling paint with my hands and utilizing different tools resulted in a diptych I adored! "Like Stone II" is my version of a minimalistic, concrete style that makes a great accent piece to any wall. It can stand alone beautifully, but is best suited with it's counterpart "Like Stone I."
