This image was inspired by my love for simplifying and manipulating what I see through the camera lens. The petals of this flower were already beautiful and striking in color. But when translated to black and white the striped pattern became much more dramatic. I enjoy experimenting and looking at the small details that are sometimes overlooked in order to express a different point of view. I love how the pattern on these petals is somewhat reminiscent of a zebra's stripes!
