About the work

I've always found inspiration in the every day objects around me. This unassuming plant had so much personality I couldn't resist drawing it. It was like an adolescent growing out of his awkward stage. The pot it was stuck in was now too small. The skinny plant had quickly grown very tall. It was leaning toward the sun, begging for more energy.
