This floral inspired painting (acrylic on canvas) was inspired by my beautiful grandmother, Miriam. Her favorite flower was the camellia and she arranged some that she found for her bouquet on her wedding day. I always loved hearing her stories of using little items to make something meaningful for family and friends. Miriam is a beautiful abstraction of the memories of my grandma and of her stories of beautiful flowers.
