The expansive, ethereal beauty of Joshua Tree National Park takes my breath away each and every time that I visit. Its majestic landscape dotted with whimsical Joshua Trees and rugged boulders never fails to inspire wonder and creativity in my soul, as it has done for so many others throughout time. For this first piece in my Joshua Tree series, I chose a soft, pastel color palette and intentionally added a hazy effect to evoke a sense of this California desert escape’s romantic, dreamy atmosphere.
