It's inevitable that my design background would begin to surface in my paintings and vice versa. This watercolor painting was inspired by the hand-lettering work I've been doing over the last year. I spent years exploring hand writing and flourishes on Birthday cards and letters—I never realized it would actually influence my style. It has become part of who I am as a designer and artist.
