This piece was inspired by my son's small collection of rocks and the way that I found them neatly arranged on the table one morning. I was immediately drawn to the repetition and order, so took that image back to my studio. Using varying amounts of pooled water, I created a layered and 'floated' appearance to each of the elements in this piece.
