About the work
Blue Ombre Sunset is a watercolor and gouache on watercolor paper. I love mixing blue and purple hues together to make even darker, dramatic hues. The charging of the color in certain areas created ground and sky, to me, making it look like a beautiful island sunset. This piece is not part of a larger body of work but stands alone.
